This month Helen was invited to preach on evangelism at a Church in Richmond. This was well received by the people there, as Helen encouraged them to pray for boldness from Acts 2. Later in the month Helen and some family member's ran a couple of workshops for the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania training event on evangelism and discipleship. This was well attended with some good feedback and people feeling encouraged to go and share the Gospel.
Youth continues to run every Friday evening (apart from January when we have a break). We get many different young people through; some weeks we're very busy and some weeks we're quiet, but we are always there with a listening ear, lots of food, art activities, pool, table-tennis and God-talk.
Helen has recently started a series of pencil sketches called the Faces of Love Hobart, which can be seen under the Creative Art tab. These sketches are A3 and take 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours to do each one. Some sketches are of some of our team members at Love Hobart and many are of the young people we have got to know through the street ministry. There is a queue of young ones waiting for a sketch. It is such a blessing to be able to give them their portrait and remind them of how valuable and precious they are to Jesus.
