It's almost one year since we started our Sunday church meetings, now weekly at 4:30pm. It's had its challenges but also it's joys. We are encouraged by what God is doing and although we are only a small church of 40+ people most weeks it is a blessing to meet together for worship and the preaching of the Word, followed by a time of fellowship around a meal. The worship team is growing and different ones are stepping out of their comfort zone to join the team, even children. We enjoy having children as well as adults involved in our Sunday services.
The Rock continues to be our window to reaching the unsaved, and some weeks we have so many opportunities to share the Gospel. It is a privilege to share the Gospel and be seed sowers in the Kingdom of God. One of the greatest blessings in life is to be involved in leading someone to Jesus.
Bible college continues fortnightly on a Monday night from 7-9pm. It is a good way to delve deeper into the Word of God in a small group. We've had our first few students graduate with their cert 4 in ministry and theology, and one student so far has gone onto start her diploma.
Life in ministry is not always easy, but we continue to see Gods hand move for us as we walk by faith and not by sight. We're blessed with a wonderful team who support us and get in and help wherever needed. As a large part of our ministry is hospitality there's no shortage of jobs to be done and we are very thankful for all those who help serve, clean and cook.
