We are encouraged by what the Lord is doing at the Rock. We have so many opportunities to share the Gospel and a lot of the locals, especially some of the young ones in their late teens keep coming back with their friends. It's a privilege to be available to share the Gospel with them and we look forward to seeing a harvest come in.
Since our last update Love Hobart has commenced Sunday meetings, initially meeting fortnightly at 4:30pm followed by a shared fellowship meal. The next few dates for church are 7th, 21st July; 4th, 18th August; 1st, 15th, 29th Sept; then God-willing, weekly from 13th October. People that we are meeting through the cafe and also the street evangelism are coming to church and also other weekly Bible study groups. This is exciting as we see people grow in their faith and we have our first baptisms in a couple of weeks time.
Our Bible college- Vision College Hobart- continues to meet fortnightly on a Monday night from 7-9pm. It is a Centrelink approved course so students that qualify can do the course as full time students and receive Centrelink payments. Lectures are also open up to anyone who is interested to come and listen. We are currently studying 'The Triumphant Church- the book of Acts' and our next unit will be 'The Royal Priesthood.'
We continue to pray for our city of Hobart, and as the dark gets darker, we believe the light of Gods truth will shine brighter. It is a time to be bold and courageous for Jesus and to stand up for righteousness, Godliness and holiness as we proclaim Jesus Christ as King of kings, and Lord of lords.
