We have had a very busy start to the year. Helen has been given many opportunities to speak on radio following the release of her book 'Let's GO!' and later this year will go to the mainland to speak on evangelism. God has also graciously brought increase in the number of people coming to church and we have been blessed to have different ones join with us as we seek to serve the Lord in Hobart. It is also always very exciting to hear testimonies in church every week of people being freed from addictions, healings and provision as well as testimonies from the street ministry. Helen has also been training others in street ministry and that has been very encouraging.
Youth night has been busy with lots of kids and lots of food and lots of opportunities to talk and build friendships. Competition at the table tennis table is rising as some of the young ones are improving their skills! As Youth night is an outreach night to the community it is more like a drop in place, it's not a meeting. As such it is very informal and leaves room to listen and talk and pray if appropriate as we are available to meet kids where they're at.
Our art exhibition for this year is only weeks away and we are excited to be working with others as we explore the meaning and preciousness of life. 'Life?' exhibition will be open daily from 12pm-7pm on Saturday 16th June through to Wednesday 20th June 2018 at the Waterside Pavilion, Hobart.
