After a months break in January from most ministry activities, February has seen us back into everything. We are so enjoying seeing the openness of people on the streets of Hobart as we share the Gospel on a regular basis. It's also great to have conversations with people we've shared with before and build friendships and answer their many and varied questions. We,ve been giving out lots of Bibles, Action Bibles, tracts and even DVD's and Creation Ministry magazines.
Youth night continues to draw in young people from a variety of backgrounds, nationalities, cultures and religions. We are building relationships and trust, as well as being able to share the Gospel, testimonies and what it means to be a Christian day in and day out.
We announced the name of our church on 21st February with the accompanying logo. Tying in the name of the outreach cafe The Rock, which was the first step of the ministry of Love Hobart, we are pleased to announce the name 'Church on The Rock'. The logo represents Christ the Rock and the nest of eaglets the church, with the eagle representing a mature Christian who disciples the younger believers.

Fun times at youth night!! It's great to hang out and build relationships with some of the youth we've met through street ministry.
