The Rock is taking off!! It's been an amazing 6 week adventure- so far! We have been supported by many Christians from many different denominations which has been such a wonderful blessing. Whether they have come in as customers or by being part of the many teams involved in this outreach ministry to Hobart we are very thankful for all the support. Last Friday we started a group for those interested in going out into the streets of Hobart on a Friday night in teams of 2-3 to share the Gospel, talk to the lonely, pray for the sick or just show the love of the Father. This is an exciting 'next step' for us as we seek to be a light shining in our community, not just at The Rock coffee shop but out in the streets as well. We are getting more musicians coming on board to play/sing and last Friday we had 4 different groups/individuals-what a blessing that was. We are getting opportunity to do artwork as well, and in the evenings with a spotlight on an artist painting has been an opening for people to come in off the street. We've had opportunities to share the Gospel, pray for healing, speak words of encouragement and just be there to be-friend people. It's still early days but we are very encouraged by how things are going. We give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness to us in these days.
